What Long Read means
A normal party is cut into equal one-hour slots: a DJ steps up, warms up, gives everything they have and hands over the booth.
Long Read works differently: the time goes to one artist, so they can build a story rather than run through a selection of hits. On 18 September that set belongs to DP-6.

DP-6
Vadim Indigo and Alexey Filin · together since 2000
DP-6 is a music project founded in 2000 by Vadim Indigo and Alexey Filin. Both grew up on the electronic scene of the nineties, and it shows in their music, which sits between atmospheric and machine sound.
The turning point came in 2003 with their first vinyl release. A few years later a DP-6 track was picked for Renaissance by Hernan Cattaneo, a compilation the scene took to warmly. Alexey and Vadim also founded the label DP-6 Records, which releases their own tracks alongside music by other artists.

2000
July
DP-6 is formed. The duo record their first track together, «Summer 2000».
2002
December
DP-6 start playing live techno across Russia: Moscow, Voronezh, Lipetsk, St Petersburg, Saratov, Odessa, Tver, Kazan and many more.
2003
October
The first DP-6 vinyl, «Lostont», is released in Belgium on In-Cycle Records, with support from Jeff Mills, Redhead, Michael Burkat and Lars Klein.
December
First DP-6 show at Tunnel club in St Petersburg, at a festival of electronic projects.
2004
March
The second record comes out in the Netherlands on Xtra:Sound, a Cyber Records imprint. The tracks Midsummer and Afterlife are played by Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Anthony Pappa and Deep Dish.
July
Their first digital release, «Totem» and «Neo», comes out on CP Records.
December
One of the hardest and most conceptual DP-6 tracks, «I Hate You» , is pressed to vinyl on Genetic Records Belgium and lands in the playlists of Stanny Franssen, Chris Liebing, Marco Carola and Mauro Picotto.
2005
July
DP-6 tracks appear in Russia on CD for the first time, on the Monolit compilation Radiotrance presents Made in Russia. 100% Techno, compiled by DJ Kosmonavt.
July
The DP-6 remix of Alex Stealthy, «Deploring» , is released on vinyl by Vapour Recordings, supported by Ferry Corsten, Kasey Taylor, Armin van Buuren, Nick Warren, Desyn Masiello, Matthew Dekay, Steve Parry and others.
2006
February
A live show at Live Sound Party, Limpopo club, Lipetsk.
December
The first episode of their radio show, DP-6 Presents Russian Minds airs on Pure.FM.
2007
January
A first DP-6 release on the Portuguese techno label Naked Lunch, followed by several more records there.
March
Track «Summer Time», first released as part of True Colors on the Greek label In Fact Records, is included on the Hernan Cattaneo CD «Sequential Vol.2» on Renaissance Records.
2008
January
They launch the label DP-6 Records.
October
The Toki Fuko track «Click», released on DP-6 Records, reaches number 24 in the Beatport minimal sales chart.
2010
July
The project turns ten and keeps working: club shows, releases, remixes, and a hand to new electronic musicians.
2011
October
DP-6 Records puts out its hundredth release.
November
The first DP-6 Records label night, with Underset invited from Krasnodar.
2015
August
Fifteen years of DP-6, celebrated at Rob Roy Bar.
2016
January
Release «Eclipse» comes out on Suffused Music with the original and three remixes by Advent's Rising, Desaturate and Third Personality.
June
Release «Reload» is released on Clinique Recordings. Beatport name it one of the twenty best exclusives of the week, and it enters the Top 100 Progressive House releases in its first days on sale.

Questions
- What is the dress code? Dress up if you like. Casual is fine too.
- What music will be playing? Electronic. The night centres on progressive house and deep house.
- Do I need my passport? The night is 18+. Bring an ID if you look young — the door may ask for it.
- I do not know anyone on the line-up. Should I come? Come. The mansion has contemporary art on the walls, its own kitchen and bar, and the night feels closer to a house party than a club. You can hear the residents beforehand — the links are in the cards above.
